This year’s edition of the Pomeranian Science Workshops took place at the University of Gdansk’s Oliwa Campus on September 15–19, 2025.

In line with the "Talented from Pomerania 2.0 - University of Gdańsk" project, the workshops were open to talented students from schools in the Pomeranian Voivodeship living and studying outside the Tri-City area.

Specialised lectures, exercises, experiments, and workshops were prepared specifically for them, covering various academic disciplines: from the exact and natural sciences (such as chemistry, physics, and mathematics) to the humanities (history) and social sciences (such as law, geography, and economics).

Conducted by faculty from the Faculty of Economics on the UG campus in Oliwa, at the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, the workshops included three workshops.

The first, "Head for business – creative workshops for young people," was prepared by dr Ewa Ignaciuk and dr Maciej Krzemiński for young people who want to pursue entrepreneurship. Workshop participants learned the basics of project management, developed ideas, planned activities, analyzed the market, and presented their projects like professionals.

During the second workshop, "Do it before the battery dies," led by dr Magdalena Markiewicz, high school students learned time management methods and techniques, planned their activities, and planned their personal and professional goals.

The third workshop, "Crisis management in practice – how to prepare for difficult situations?", led by dr Dorota Książkiewicz, taught students how to recognize threats, respond quickly, and make sound decisions in crisis situations – not only in theory, but above all in practice.

The Talented from Pomerania 2.0 project - University of Gdańsk is funded by European Funds under the regional program European Funds for Pomerania.
