Success of the Logistics Students' Club in the UG Competition
We are delighted to announce that the Logistics Students' Club has been selected as one of four winning projects in the University of Gdańsk's Competition for Student Organizations, aimed at supporting initiatives of a scientific and social nature.
The awarded project concerns the organization of the Logistics Scientific Conference (LSC), which will take place in autumn 2025 at the Faculty of Economics. The event will bring together students and representatives of scientific associations from all over Poland, representing logistics, economics, technical, and social sciences. Together, we will explore topics related to both supply chain management and the impact of logistics on the development of cities, regions, and economic systems. Particular emphasis will be placed on the intersection of logistics and spatial economy, which together shape the modern face of transport, mobility, and spatial planning.
The conference program will include keynote speeches by representatives of leading companies in the logistics and supply chain sectors, hands-on workshops, discussion panels, a networking zone with industry professionals, a study visit, and a competition for the best academic paper.
The project, authored by Julia Łaska, also involves close cooperation with the Students’ Scientific Association of Spatial Economy from the Faculty of Social Sciences at UG, highlighting the interdisciplinary nature of the event.
We warmly invite you to the Logistics Scientific Conference (LSC)!
