Competition for the Best Diploma Thesis in Public Finance – 2nd Edition

Konkurs na najlepszą pracę dyplomową z zakresu finansów publicznych – II edycja

 

We invite you to participate in the nationwide competition for the best bachelor’s and master’s theses on public finance, organized by the Institute of Public Finance – a non-governmental organization promoting transparency and critical analysis of public finances.

The competition aims to encourage young people to think about public finance in a fresh, responsible, and in-depth way, as well as to support them in presenting the results of their work to a wider audience. The competition offers not only a chance to win cash prizes (total prize pool of PLN 10,000) and material awards but also valuable experience, including internship offers at the Institute of Public Finance.

The 2nd edition of the competition is under the patronage of:

  • Prof. Piotr Wachowiak, PhD, Rector of the Warsaw School of Economics,
  • Senator Kazimierz Kleina, Chair of the Budget and Public Finance Committee of the Polish Senate.

The award ceremony will take place at the Polish Senate, providing a unique opportunity to present your voice in the debate on public finance.

The deadline for submissions is October 31, 2025.
