Scientists from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk with NCN Grants
The National Science Centre (NCN) has announced the list of winners for the OPUS 27 and PRELUDIUM 23 competitions. Among them are three researchers from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdańsk, who secured funding totaling nearly PLN 1,265,429.
Dr. hab. Monika Bąk, Professor at UG from the Department of Transport Economics, received funding of PLN 799,282 for a project titled “Tourist behaviour and sustainable travel modes in coastal regions: Tackling overtourism challenges.”
Dr. hab. Piotr Zientara, Professor at UG from the Department of Sustainable Market Processes, obtained funding of PLN 333,304 for a project titled “Understanding managerial job candidates’ perceptions of union-busting practices in US corporations committed to CSR.”
Mgr Patryk Wierzbowski from the Department of Logistics secured funding of PLN 132,843 for a project titled “The potential of MaaS adoption in Polish cities: responding to the challenges of mobility development.”
