13th edition of the FINSIM Academic League Competition
We encourage student teams to participate in the FINSIM Academic League 2024/2025
FINSIM – Academic League for students - is a unique free training program of the Warsaw Institute of Banking in the form of an inter-university competition using a modern bank management simulation.
Recruitment for 2024/25 lasts until December 15, 2024.
Students have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge, certificates and very interesting prizes. The FINSIM – Academic League competition is a professional training for students passionate about economics, finance and management, in competitive conditions.
FINSIM combines over 20 years of experience using simulation developed at Stanford University, as well as a new simulation developed with foreign partners ITCB Hungary, which meets the latest regulatory requirements in Europe.
WIB is the only licensed user of simulation in Poland.
Participants, working in teams, can experience the consequences of their management decisions made in a competitive macroeconomic environment, simulated by the program in subsequent periods. Participants form Teams representing the boards of banks competing with each other.
Rules of the game:
We invite 5-person teams of students from the second year of studies upwards, from fields with a banking and finance, economics or similar profile, with good academic results (the required grade point average for the last academic year is at least 3.80 on a scale of 2-5, calculated as the average grade per person) and activity in university scientific circles, student organizations.
The most important information about this year's edition of the League:
• Recruitment of teams until December 15 this year (recruitment rules and Competition regulations on the website www.liga.finsim.pl )
• Remote inaugural session in January 2025.
• Remote final session in June 2025.
• Online game • Mentor support
• Limited number of places.
Financial prizes for the 3 best teams:
1ST PLACE – PLN 5,000/Team
2ND PLACE – PLN 3,000/Team
3RD PLACE – PLN 2,000/Team
