Sustainable Development – Transformation and Reporting
Postgraduate Studies: Sustainable Development – Transformation and Reporting
Programme Director:
Dr. Katarzyna Osiecka-Brzeska
Overview:
Sustainable development today is not just a slogan but a real direction of change in the economy and business. The CSRD Directive of November 2022 introduced new non-financial reporting obligations, commonly known as ESG reporting, which directly shape the future of enterprises. The aim of the programme is to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to prepare organisations to meet ESG criteria and, more broadly, to strengthen the competitiveness of the Polish economy in the process of the European Union’s transformation towards sustainable development.
Curriculum:
The content is organised from general to specific so that participants can build their knowledge step by step. The following modules will be delivered:

The teaching staff of the postgraduate programme Manager in ESG includes academics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk specialising in European Union issues, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable development. Additionally, within the Environmental (E) criteria, classes will be conducted in cooperation with staff from the Faculty of Chemistry, who will introduce participants to practical aspects of reporting in this area. The practical component of the programme will also be co-led by representatives of Moore Polska, the official partner of the postgraduate studies.
