Characteristics:
ESG acronym means three letters that change the world of business. Introduced by the CSRD directive of November 2022, they determine the scope of non-financial reporting. The primary goal of the studies is to equip Participants with the knowledge that will allow them to prepare enterprises to meet ESG criteria and, more broadly, ensure the competitiveness of the Polish economy in the face of the European Union's transformation towards sustainable development.
The studies are conducted in Polish.
Program:
The content provided has been arranged from general to specific so that Participants can build their knowledge step by step. The following modules will be implemented:
- The place of ESG in the legislation of the European Union (analysis of legal acts of the European Union needed in sustainable development in the organisation)
- E, S and G - characteristics of individual ESG reporting indicators
- In the environmental scope (E), classes will be held at the Faculty of Chemistry, where one of the stationary meetings will be held. Participants can visit laboratories and understand the environmental criteria through experiences and experiments.
- The place of ESG in the organization aims to show how to map processes in the organization in terms of ESG, diagnose Stakeholders, and communicate the change process both within the organization and outside it.
- ESG as non-financial reporting and seminar - Participants will prepare their ESG reports.
- ESG criteria and financing of activities will describe how ESG will affect the possibilities of obtaining funding.
Staff:
The teaching staff of the ESG Manager postgraduate studies includes employees of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Gdansk, who specialise in issues related to the European Union, corporate social responsibility, and sustainable development. In addition, in criterion E, classes will be conducted with the Faculty of Chemistry employees, who will familiarise the Participants with practical aspects related to reporting in this area. The practical part will be co-conducted by representatives of Moore Polska, the official partner of the postgraduate studies.
Duration:
2 semesters (168 h), classes are held on selected Saturdays and Sundays (8:00 – 18:30) in the summer semester of the academic year 2023/2024 and the winter semester of the academic year 2024/2025
The studies are hybrid (3 full-time sessions, the remaining sessions – online)

Fees:
PLN 2,300 for one semester (2 x PLN 2,300)
The conditions for admission to the studies are:
- completion of first-cycle, second-cycle or uniform master's studies in any field of study,
- payment of the annual or semester fee,
- submission of a complete set of documents, i.e. application for admission to postgraduate studies (generated from the online registration system after registering for the edition of postgraduate studies), a copy of the higher education diploma, ID photo and proof of payment of the tuition fee.
