Invitation to the Intellectual Property & Innovation DAYS Event – April 1st

The University of Gdańsk Technology Transfer Office invites everyone interested in collaborating with businesses, protecting intellectual property, and obtaining information on funding opportunities for R&D projects to the second edition of the Intellectual Property & Innovation Days event. The event will take place on April 1st at the Institute of Informatics, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics, and Informatics, University of Gdańsk.

The program includes:

  • A keynote speech by the President of the Polish Patent Office.
  • Presentations by experts from HAPAG-LLOYD AG, Sii, ROCHE DIAGNOSTIC, Rebels Valley venture capital, and institutions financing research and development projects (industry-academia collaboration) – covering all scientific fields.
  • A lecture on funding opportunities for research and implementation projects under the Innovation Incubator program, operated at UG by the Technology Transfer Office and Univentum Labs.
  • Workshops (40 min) – "The Art of Short Presentations" (available in both Polish and English) – limited seats available.
  • New this year – consultation booths of institutions financing R&D projects, including the Northern Poland Horizon Europe Contact Point, European Funds Information Point, Polish Investment and Trade Agency, and the Pomeranian Development Agency – providing insights on how to secure funding for joint projects with businesses.
  • Consultation opportunities with experts from the Technology Transfer Office, patent attorneys (on legal protection of research results), and representatives of the Project Support Office – Project Incubator and Univentum Labs (UG’s special-purpose company).
