Within the framework of the ERASMUS students going to study at foreign universities receive a scholarship in order to cover part of the cost of staying abroad. The amount of the scholarship depends on the country of destination as indicated below:

The amounts of the scholarship are valid in the academic year 2022/23.

A student is entitled to the social scholarship in the amount of 250 EUR (paid in equivalent PLN) under Erasmus+ for each month of stay abroad as indicated in the signed Erasmus+ contract. Please note that student is entitled to social scholarship only if at the time of recruitment was entitled to the social scholarship at the University of Gdansk*. This has to be confirmed by the Dean’s Office (there is an appropriate section in the application form for this).

*Student could be entitled to the social scholarship at the University of Gdansk under the provisions of the act „Prawo o szkolnictwie wyższym – rozdział 2: prawa i obowiązki studentów” (Law on higher education – chapter 2)
