2. While preparing the manuscript Authors should follow the guidelines enclosed in the file:

 Guidelines for the Authors

3. Manuscripts submitted to the Journal must have neither been published nor accepted and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Editors reserve the right to suggest minor amendments to the Authors.

4. IJETE editors apply procedure preventing occurrence of the ghostwriting or the guest authorship.

Ghostwriting occurs when the author uses the scientific achievements of others without acknowledging that fact in the list of authors or in the form of footnotes or acknowledgments printed in the article. Guest authorship procedure, also known as honorary authorship means the situation that despite having none or minimal contribution in the preparation of the manuscript, a person is listed as author/co-author of the manuscript.

In order to eliminate the above-described manifestations of scientific misconduct the journal editors require authors to disclose the contribution of individual authors in the development of manuscripts (by giving their affiliation and information who is the author of concepts, principles, methods, etc., used in the preparation of manuscripts). The main responsibility lies with the authors who submit the manuscripts. Editors inform that all detected cases of “ghost writing” and “guest authorship” will be reported to relevant institutions.

Each author while submitting an article for publication confirms that he/she has read the above information by signing the following statement.
