Every year there are two major festivals held in Sopot: Sopot Festival, which dates back to the 60s, and TOP Trendy. There are also two theaters: the small stage of Teatr Wybrzeże and Agnieszka Osiecka Atelier Theatre.

Wide range of cultural events could be also spotted at ERGO Arena - a modern arena located on the border of Sopot and Gdansk. It hosted such celebrities as Sting, Lady Gaga, Rammstein, Ozzy Osbourne, Michael Buble.
