Expert lecture on "Business communication"

On December 20, 2023 at9.45 we invite the students and academics to a lecture led by an expert with many years of experience in working in an international environment, Ms. Małgorzata Turska, Content Manager from Bayer.

The topic of the meeting is "Business Communication".

The classes will be held in Auditorium B at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, Sopot, ul.Armii Krajowej 119/121. The lecture will be conducted in Polish.

Business communication is a key skill that involves the effective exchange of information within the organization and with external stakeholders.

This skill covers various forms of communication and is essential for building relationships, communicating ideas and achieving organizational goals.The key aspects of business communication include: clarity and conciseness, matching written and verbal communication styles, active listening, and the ability to use feedback.

Business communication is therefore a multi-faceted skill covering both the verbal and written spheres. Its application contributes to a positive and productive work atmosphere, supports collaboration and ultimately increases the success of both individuals and organizations.

This is the next lecture at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk in 2023 as part of the Bayer@Uni program.

In November 2023, a very inspiring lecture on Feedback Culture was given by Ms. Anna Maliarenko, Senior Project Professional at Bayer.

Students of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk had the opportunity to participate in the Bayer@Uni program earlier, in spring 2023, and the next classes will take place in 2024.

Workshops and lectures under the Bayer@Uni program are coordinated by Dr. Magdalena Markiewicz, vice-dean for development and cooperation with the socio-economic environment.
