WAMPIRIADA - IT’S A GAME FOR BLOOD!
Independent Students’ Association of University of Gdańsk is organising blood collection among students and academics of Ubiversity of Gdańsk, called ‘Wampiriada’. Under the slogan ‘IT’S A GAME FOR BLOOD!’ we want to underline the fact that many people have to ‘play a game’ and rely on others who can give them blood.
We hope that the November campaign will affect a big amount of students thanks to the fact that organisers have cooperated with many companies. All these companies prepared interesting presents for all the eager students and academics.
4 DAYS, 4 DEPARTMENTS, 4 BLOOD COLLECTIONS !!!
13th November – Faculty of Law and Administration
14th November – Faculty of Management (bloodmobile)
21st November –Faculty of Economy (bloodmobile)
25th November – Faculty of Social Sciences
Blood donors’ registration: from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
We are inviting not only volunteers for giving blood! For all the others we have prepared various competitions with wonderful prizes! You can take part in them and also in CPR training. Our group of partners consists of (inter alia): theatres, (ie. Teatr Muzyczny in Gdynia), cinemas, clubs (ie. S.F.I.N.K.S.) and sport teams: Lechia Gdańsk, Lotos Trefl Gdańsk and Trefl Sopot.
Honorary patronage of the action took: Rektor UG, Prezydent Miasta Gdańska, Prezydent Sopotu and Wojewoda Pomorski.
FOREX CUP YOUNG
Forex Cup Young is a nationwide project organised by Independent Students’ Association and X-Trade Brokers. Within the project, economists from XTB will come to academies in order to teach students about financial markets. The lectures start Nov 15th at 12 a.m in auditorium A in the building of Faculty of Economy of Univeristy of Gdańsk.. After that lecture, students will have an opportunity to take part in the investment game in which players receive virtual money. If they achieve high rates of return, they might win prizes: practice in XTB, Hewlett-Packard's notebooks and tablets.
