Cooperation with ONE

On April 19, 2023, a teaching and research cooperation agreement was signed with Ocean Network Express.

Ocean Network Express has been cooperating with the Faculty of Economics for many years, and the scope of this cooperation includes activities aimed at providing high-quality education to the students of the Faculty, meeting the modern requirements of the labor market, creating the basis for the effective development and use of their knowledge and skills in professional work.

The cooperation agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, dr hab. Monika Bak, prof. UG and Reiner Zimbalski, director of Regional Port Operations and Container Management at Ocean Network Express.

The coordinator of academic cooperation on the part of the University of Gdańsk is Magdalena Markiewicz, PhD, vice-dean for cooperation with the socio-economic environment.

One of the dimensions of cooperation between Ocean Network Express and the Faculty of Economics is participation in the series of seminars "Studies and what's next" organized by the Morskie Koło Naukowe (supervisor: dr Tomasz Nowosielski).

The next seminar bringing together lovers of the maritime industry "Studies and what's next?" get to know the profiles of companies, career prospects and the course of the recruitment process in companies from the maritime industry will take place on April 25, 2023 at 10.30 at the Faculty of Economics.
