Conference for Crowdfunding Research

Posted on 2022-12-06

Crowdfunding is a modern form of financing for business, social, charity and cultural projects. It is gaining more and more recognition every year and the value of transactions is dynamically growing. For several years, it has also been a frequent topic of scientific research conducted by researchers from around the world.

Joanna Adamska-Mieruszewska and Urszula Mrzygłód from our Department participated in the first International Conference for Crowdfunding Research in Oslo organized by the UiA School of Business and Law, The Research Council of Norway and NCF.

Dr Adamska-Mieruszewska presented an article: Intention to support green crowdfunding project. Application of the theory of planned behavior and the value-belief-norm theory, and Dr. Mrzygłód chaired the session: Behaviour, Success and Survival in Reward and Donation Crowdfunding.

We are looking forward to the next conference, which we will have the pleasure of co-organizing - in June 2023 - at the Faculty of Economics!
