  • He graduated from Secondary School No. 3 in Gdynia and then master and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Transport Economics (now Faculty of Economics) of the University of Gdansk
  • He started work experience in the area of public transport in Provincial Transport Company in Gdansk in 1987 and then in City Transport Company in Gdynia as a chief transport organization specialist 
  • Since 1992 – Director of the Public Transport Authority in Gdynia, responsible for the organization of public transport in the area of Gdynia, Rumia, Sopot and Żukowo as well as following communities: Kosakowo, Szemud and Wejherowo
  • Since 2007 – Executive member of Metropolitan Public Transport Association of Gdansk Bay, involved in integrating public transport at a metropolitan scale
  • Author or co-author of several dozen books and several hundred articles and papers on transport market, transport economics, in particular public and regional transport as well as marketing management
  • Expert on public and regional transport, he prepared several dozen research expert's reports implemented in different cities and regions of Poland
  • Member of Program Committee of monthly publication: „Transport Miejski i Regionalny”
