A graduate student has knowledge of:

  • financial and management accounting,
  • rules of financial reporting,
  • corporate and business law,
  • the tax system and its impact on business,
  • environmental analysis,
  • performance management,
  • internal and external audit,
  • financial management.

Graduate student acquires skills in:

  • preparation of balance sheet, profit and loss,
  • conducting analysis of micro, meso and macro environment,
  • analysis of company’s documents,
  • description and analysis of causes and course of economic processes and phenomena through the prism of the company's financial records,
  • application of cost accounting techniques,
  • application of the tax system for individuals and businesses,
  • using the knowledge of the performance management in practice,
  • using investment appraisal techniques effectively,
  • business valuation using various methodologies,
  • decision-making under uncertainty and risk,
  • risk estimation and analysis in the company.

The effects of education enables graduates:

  • work on independent positions related to financial analysis, accounting, controlling, as well as managerial positions. Getting recognized all over the world prestigious diplomas (including ACCA.  Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business), confirming the high competence in the field of accounting and finance, that allow graduates to gain a challenging and rewarding position in international businesses.

Specialisation courses reflect ACCA exams at the following levels:

  • Fundamentals of Auditing, Internal and External Audit (F8)

Students of Finance in Companies specialization have the possibility of obtaining the following diplomas:
  • Diploma in Accounting and Business (after fulfilling additional requirements),
  • Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business (after fulfilling additional requirements),
  • BSc degree in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University (after fulfilling additional requirements).
