Bachelor studies Part-time studies Economics: Business Economics (in Polish)

The Business Economics specialization is addressed to students who, after graduation, would like to run a business or start working in the enterprise sector as mid-level specialists. Some subjects prepare for setting up and running own business, while others provide knowledge useful both to young entrepreneurs and people employed in enterprises. Subjects related to finance teach how to raise funds, how to assess the profitability of investments and how to anticipate and prevent business risks in a changing economic environment and changing economic conditions. Opportunities and threats generated by the public sector are also analysed. Knowledge is gained on the possibility of financing business development based on financial resources available at the local, regional and central level, including funds from the EU budget. On the other hand, the issues of tax and non-tax costs in business are discussed, which constitute a separate group of risks. Classes are largely interactive and some of them are conducted with the participation of practitioners.
