Meetings with Logistics Practice
Logistics Students Club invites you to the Meeting with Logistics Practice which will take place on 15th of January at 9:45 in room C301. The speaker will be Szymon Buza, Field Sales Executive in Samskip.
The meeting will be conducted in English and its title will be:
Intermodal transport = transport of the future? How to optimize logistics solutions in the Polish economy, what are the challenges and what can we gain?
During the meeting the speaker will talk about:
- intermodal solutions that combine different modes of transport
- challenges and benefits of intermodal transport,
- trends for the coming years,
- environmental policy, in harmony with the environment.
About Samskip:
Samskip is an Icelandic transport company based in the Netherlands. It offers an intermodal transport service using containers. We transport doo2door freight using 45' containers that can accommodate 33 europallets or 26 industrial pallets. When it comes to transport, Samskip uses efficient processes to combine road, sea and rail in order to ensure the greatest possible environmental and cost optimization.
