Expert lecture on Business communication

On January 08, 2024 at 9.45-11.15 a.m. we invite the students and academics to a lecture led by an expert with many years of experience in working in an international environment, Ms. Małgorzata Turska, Content Manager from Bayer Poland.

The topic of the meeting is "Business Communication".

The lecture will be conducted in English, in Auditorium B at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, Sopot, ul.Armii Krajowej 119/121. 


Business communication is a key skill that involves the effective exchange of information within the organization and with external stakeholders.

This skill covers various forms of communication and is essential for building relationships, communicating ideas and achieving organizational goals.The key aspects of business communication include: clarity and conciseness, matching written and verbal communication styles, active listening, and the ability to use feedback.

 

Business communication is therefore a multi-faceted skill covering both the verbal and written spheres. Its application contributes to a positive and productive work atmosphere, supports collaboration and ultimately increases the success of both individuals and organizations.

 

The lecture will be attended by students of International Business as part of the International Marketing course. 

We invite students and academics interested in the subject to join the meeting.

 

This is another lecture at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk in the academic year 2023/2024 as part of the Bayer@Uni program.

 

On January 10, 2024 the Project Management Introduction workshops using MS Project will also be held from 11.30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
