Agreement with the Gdansk Autonomous School

On September 13, 2023, the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk signed an agreement with the Gdańsk Autonomous High School regarding mutual cooperation to improve the quality of economic and financial education among high school students.

The agreement was signed by Ms. Monika Biblis, Director of the Gdańsk Autonomous Secondary School, and Dr. hab. Monika Bšk, prof. UG, Dean of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk.

The agreement assumes the patronage of classes with an economic profile, the organization of educational classes for GLA students in the field of economics and finance, entrepreneurship, business and management, which are the basic areas of scientific and didactic activity of the Faculty of Economics UG, as well as the inclusion of Gdańsk Autonomous Secondary School students in a number of activities and projects of teaching and research, as well as teaching support for students who are particularly gifted in the field of economics.

Under the agreement, from September 2023, classes and activities involving students of the Gdańsk Autonomous High School will be held, and conducted by research and teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk.


The Gdańsk Autonomous Secondary School is a school whose mission is the highest level of education, indicating many different directions of development, and professional support in achieving individual goals with the most autonomous approach to the teaching process.

The mission of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk is to educate students according to the highest global standards and in accordance with the requirements of the labour market and to engage in solving current problems of the socio-economic life of the University of Gdańsk. The cooperation with the aim to improve the quality of economic and financial education is one of the priorities of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk.

The cooperation coordinator is Dr. Magdalena Markiewicz, vice-dean for development and cooperation with the socio-economic environment.
