"ACCA Train the Academics" meeting and workshops

On June 14, 2023, ACCA workshops for lecturers "ACCA Train the Academics" and an event summarizing ACCA's cooperation with universities and enterprises in Poland were held in Warsaw, during which awards were presented to members of this organization involved in sharing knowledge with students.

The meeting was held by Ms. Agnieszka Jarosz, Head of ACCA Poland, Ukraine and the Baltic Countries.

ACCA representatives also presented the current possibilities of shaping the development paths of programs accredited by ACCA.

During the "Train the Academic" workshops, methods of working with the latest technologies were presented in the context of building programs and the structure of financial subjects, as well as engaging case studies in the field of finance.

The second part of the meeting was devoted to platforms and resources supporting academic teaching as part of ACCA accredited studies.

A very important part of the meeting was a workshop on the preparation, methods of checking and assessment techniques of ACCA exams conducted by an accredited ACCA trainer.

The event was attended by the representatives of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Gdańsk, the lecturers of subjects accredited by ACCA: deputy dean for development and cooperation with the socio-economic environment dr Magdalena Markiewicz, dr hab., prof.UG Leszek Czerwonka and dr hab. Anna Blajer-Gołębiewska, tutor of the specialty module Finance in enterprises.

The meeting was an opportunity to present the scope and development of ACCA's cooperation with universities in Poland, but also in Ukraine, it also created opportunities to share experiences between representatives of universities and establish relationships with the business environment.
