Workshop, National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk

Posted on 2022-10-21

The German Maritime Museum - Leibniz Institute for Maritime History holds a free participatory workshop about Gdańsk and its role as an important harbor city at the National Maritime Museum in Gdańsk on 18 November.

In this workshop we want to find out what makes life in port and coastal cities special. The city map tells a story of life with the sea because both historical events and everyday interactions of the past centuries have left traces in the form of built structures. Using specific examples, we want to observe what has changed, especially in the last forty years.
