ABSL Academy launches in April in the Tri-City

ABSL Academy is a prestigious educational program focused on developing the practical skills of effective career management. Its aim is to train future employees of the business services sector. Partner of the initiative is to CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants).

The program ABSL Academy was established in connection with the growing demand for business services sector employees who have not only academic knowledge but also practical skills that will enable them to develop a career in business services, which is the fastest growing sector of the Polish economy.

 

The aim of the program is to enable better preparation of candidates for employment in the sector and complementary activities to promote work in this industry. It is addressed to students, graduates and working people who want to gain employment in the business services and develop skills that will stand out in the labor market and build faster career path.

 

The course is based on three pillars, including basic knowledge of the sector and its specific, practical skills associated with individual business processes, soft skills and communication related to the effective management of own career.

 

Implementation of the project ABSL Academy also takes place in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA: http://www.cimaglobal.com/), through which the course participants will be able to obtain the CIMA Certificate in Shared Services. The certificate has been created to support the business services sector in the development of staff and it is based on the course in the form of e-learning (approx. 100 hours of self-study) ending with an examination. The sentence of this examination will be a prerequisite for obtaining credit in the first part of the course ABSL Academy.

 

The workshops will be taught by top leaders and experts from member companies ABSL (including Alexander Mann Solutions, Arla Foods, Coleman Research, Competence Call Center, EY, Geoban, Thomson Reuters). The course includes a total of 100 hours of e-learning and 96 hours of workshops. The course fee for one participant is 1700 zł. Classes are held in English.
