Pandemic diaries

Posted on 2020-07-08

Diaries play an interesting role in our lives.
We entrust secrets to them, record the most important events and memories.
We are able to recreate emotions that accompanied moments from the past.

Some of them are known to us thanks to literature, such as the memoirs of Jan Chrysostom Pasek dating back to 1658, when "In the courtyard you have nothing, because all the people are scattered around, everyone guarded his quarters."

Others are known from the cinema, such as "Manuscript Found in Zaragoza", a film directed by Wojciech Hass based on the novel of Count. Jan Potocki from the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries, constituting the so-called a casket story about a specific perception of time ...

The 2019/2020 summer semester, other than planned, was also reflected in the memoirs ...

Throughout the summer, we will publish weekly fragments of selected "Pandemic Diaries" created by students of our Faculty.

We wonder if you also find in them your memories, your emotions, your images and thoughts?

We cordially invite you to read the series of diaries created by students of the Faculty of Economics during the summer semester of 2019/2020.

Inaugural Diary No. 1 (the text is in Polish).
