Ladies and gentlemen,

Taking into account the still unstable epidemiological situation and uncertain prospects for the course of the epidemic COVID-19 in the autumn, we decided to cancel the conference. However, we are trying to realize the intentions related to the publication of your scientific articles, therefore we will direct the submitted articles to the publishing process.

which will be held in Sopot, Poland on April 2 - 3, 2020

at the Faculty of Economics, University of Gdansk

OFFICIAL LETTER OF CONFERENCE CANCELLATION

It is with deep regret that we are informing you of the cancellation of the Global Maritime Conference 2020, which was going to take place on April 2-3, 2020 in Sopot/Poland. The decision to cancel our conference was based on the available data on Coronavirus disease outbreak. This decision was made out of deep concern for the health and well-being of our Participants.

If the future conditions allow us to perform the GlobMar Conference, it is our ambition to do it in close connection to another scientific conference that our Department prepares – The InfoGlob 2020 Conference, which will be held between 15-17 September 2020 on the board the ferry Stena Line on the route Gdynia – Karlskrona – Gdynia (with a site visit to Copenhagen). Both events will be simultaneously performed on board.

Trying to be as much as flexible in this hard situation, you are kindly asked to declare your further participation or resigning of it directly to the Organizing Committee: globmar2020@ug.edu.pl

We intend to bilaterally findings, especially when the conference fee should be returned in case of resignation or fee transfer to the publication costs.
