LSEG Eikon Lab

LSEG Eikon Lab (till 2021 Rerinitiv Eikon Lab) is a result of a collaboration between the University of Gdansk, City of Gdansk and the City of Sopot and Refinitiv. Eikon Lab is a unique computer lab that was initiated by the Institute of International Business and opened at the Faculty of Economics in 2008. It is the first project of its kind in Poland and also in Central and Eastern Europe. Since 2013, every computer in the lab is equipped with access to Eikon – the main product of Refinitiv that enables the analysis of financial and commodity markets.

LSEG Academy

LSEG Eikon is open for students during classes of LSEG Academy, conducted in Polish and English. Students learn  Eikon product functionality and scope. After completing the course, students may take the exam prepared by the company to receive a certificate, which confirms a high level of product knowledge. LSEG Eikon Lab is also open to staff and students of the University of Gdansk on a regular basis - scheduled duty hours.

Partnership with LSEG (formerly Refinitiv) placed the Faculty of Economics University of Gdansk among the elite group of universities with similar laboratories: London Business School (UK), HEC (France), European Business School (Germany), Instituto de Empresa (Spain), Universitaet St. Gallen (Switzerland), INSEAD (France), Bocconi (Italy), IMD (Switzerland), American University in Dubai (United Arab Emirates).
