The OSTC Global Trading Challenge

The OSTC & CME Group Trading Tournament, organized annually by OSTC and CME Group Inc. (Chicago Mercantile Exchange & Chicago Board of Trade), is a trading game allowing participants to compete and trade derivatives in real time. The game reflects the working conditions of professional traders. Due to the partnership with CME, it is based on products of this exchange: indexes and bonds, metals, agricultural and energy products, as well as soft commodities.

The competition involves students from around the world - Canada, USA, Portugal, Spain, Poland, and India. In Poland, the competition involves students from seven universities (University of Gdansk, University of Warsaw, Cracow University of Economics, University of Lodz, Poznan University of Economics, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan, and Warsaw School of Economics). Altogether, the OSTC Global Trading Challenge 2014 Edition was attended by over 2,700 participants from 92 universities from around the world.

The winners, in addition to cash prizes, get a chance to start a paid internship at OSTC and participate in training for professional traders conducted by foreign experts, representatives of the world's largest exchanges and OSTC managers. The best of competitors are also offered positions in OSTC.
