Anna Maria Nikodemska-Wołowik, 

Associate Professor

Anna Maria Nikodemska-Wołowik holds a doctorate in economics and a degree of habilitated doctor (since VI 2009). She is an associated professor of economics at the University of Gdansk. She has a master’s degree in foreign trade from the University of Gdansk and holds several certificates from foreign universities: Harvard Business School, IESE Business School, University of Strathclyde Business School. 

 

 
     

 

Over the years she has performed various administrative and scientific functions. Professor Nikodemska-Wolowik focuses on the following research areas: consumer behaviour, qualitative marketing research, intellectual property protection, family enterprises, corporate identity. She participates in many international academic programmes. She has taken part as an expert in numerous research projects (including co-financed by the EU) and has been a principal investigator in the National Science Centre project. She is a member of the International Family Enterprise Research Academy, Polish Economic Society, IESE Business School Alumni Association, the project Znane Ekspertki (Renowned Experts). 

 

 

 

     

 

Professor Nikodemska-Wolowik has received many scientific and national awards. She authored and co-authored about 100 publications in Poland and abroad. These include the first international article on the identity of Polish family enterprises (The Marketing Review, 2006). Relatedly, in 2006 she inspired management of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development and launched a project focused on Polish family businesses.
