Dr Joanna Adamska-Mieruszewska

 

 

Employee Profile

 

Joanna Adamska-Mieruszewska, an Assistant Professor at the University of Gdańsk, holds a doctoral degree in Economics and a master’s degree in Law. She has completed numerous, supplementary trainings, most recent Panel Data Linear Analysis conducted at the Graduate School of Economics in Barcelona, Spain. 

 

 
   

 At the Faculty of Economics, she teaches courses such as international finance, LSEG academy, finance, corporate finance, personal finance, and business case studies. Dr Adamska-Mieruszewska is also responsible for coordinating the cooperation between the University of Gdansk and the Refinitiv company (LSEG Group).

 

Her scientific works have been published in the International Journal of Hospitality Management, Electronic Markets, Industrial Relations Journal, Economics & Sociology. Since 2022 dr Adamska-Mieruszewska is conducting a research grant funded by the National Science Center dedicated to Socio-psychological motivations for supporting social and commercial crowdfunding campaigns.

 

 

   

 

Research interests include:

  • crowdfunding and crowdsourcing,
  • the role of modern trade unions,
  • international financial markets,
  • sustainable finance.
